The Core

The Core is the body’s center of gravity and is where all movement originates. If you have a weak or dysfunctional core, then all other interconnected joints and muscles of your lower body (below the hip), and the upper body (above the hip), will have muscle imbalances which can result in improper movements and lead to injury. Therefore, it is imperative that you begin first with exercises that focus on training and strengthening the muscles of the “Lumbo Pelvic Hip Complex,” or core of the body.
